The Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Mongolia established their diplomatic relation on 17 November, 1954. The Embassy of Vietnam in Mongolia was opened in 1960.
Vietnam and Mongolia have had a traditional friendship relation of many years. The people of the two countries have been supporting each other over the period. We always collaborate in international and regional levels. The Government and people of Vietnam have greatly impressed by strong developmental success of Mongolia which is already recognized and appreciated in Asia as well as in the world.
After more than two decades of Economic Reform “Doi moi” since 1986, Vietnam has gained historical and significant economic and social achievements, thus making our country into a very dynamic economy with high and stable economic growth.
